kristography

what in the world is kristography?

this word came to my mind through my visual media production class in the seminary. kristography simply means reflecting the Christian life visually. this is a way of expressing my boredom in writing theological papers. visual images have its own strength of expressing an idea that words can't accurately describe. it gives a way for the viewer to see a broader description of what the author wants to communicate or express. See for example the image above. i can write a 10-pages scholarly paper on Religious Piety of the Filipinos. But this photo can speak for itself, except maybe that i need to note this was taken inside the Quiapo church in Manila.
Theology comes in many forms today. i am thinking of complementing another form to it- KRISTOGRAPHY.
